Building a Pilaster in the Bathroom

I decided to add a pilaster between the green and the blue colors to visually enhance the separation of the tub area from the rest of the bathroom.  I’d like to make it more pronounced and add a matching one to the other wall next year, along with an arched bit of wall.  I’ve wanted to do this for years, and I finally found a great photo for inspiration on Houzz, seen below.  I’d also like to add white wainscoting paneling around the whole bathroom, but I will wait until we can do more of a major remodel; hopefully next year.
