Painting the Laundry Room and Installing Trim

I am finally priming and painting the laundry room after 12 years!  It took about a week to prime and paint the walls and 3 doors and 5 sets of door casing. Also in that time, I added baseboard, basecap, shoe molding, beadboard, chair rail, and crown molding.  Whew!  And it looks so great!  I love the wall color and how crisp the white painted beadboard looks against it.  It’s really quite exciting to see such a beautiful transformation after just a week of work.

I still need to paint cabinet doors and hang the upper cabinet.  Sometime this year, I’d like for us to build a laundry hamper to be placed under the upper cabinet.
