In the dining room, the client had old furniture in a country kitchen style that was no longer to her taste.
We replaced the dining room table with a deep chocolate brown table of the same nominal size, but with the added benefit of two pull-out leaves.
We found very beautiful and extremely comfortable dining chairs with legs in a matching wood finish, upholstered in a durable white microsuede.
We replaced the tall country buffet and hutch with a long, low modern credenza in the same dark chocolate wood with metal-framed glass doors.
We placed a great-looking mirror with shelves above the new dining buffet, and added an art print on the wall.
We also added a set of leaning shelves between the living room and dining room, and found a great bright floor lamp that can be pulled closer to the table when the client needs to do some work there.
Finally, we replaced the ceiling fan with a more beautiful one in a modern style, and added some place settings in a red that matches the red used in the adjoining living room.
