Pillows are a great way to add color as well as comfort to a space. It’s easy to make my own pillows or pillow coverings, and it gives me control over all details of the design as well as choice of fabrics.
I made the first set of pillows out of orange and yellow silk to add pops of color on the living room sofa. The yellow pillow with the fancy covered button and the pillows covered in a sheer blue and brown circle fabric were made for an off-white love seat in our dining room/kitchen, and curtains in the dining room are also made out of the blue and brown circle fabric. The final eleven pillows were made by rounding up all unused pillow forms from around the house and covering them for use on our new daybed in our little attic room.
