On the night of my last post, we had a huge thunderstorm, with about 5 inches of rain. There was some flash flooding around town, including in our backyard, where my storage room got flooded once again. So, our next project is to moisture-proof the room (as much as possible) where I store my precious paintings.
So now, the house is filling up with canvases and boxes of art and picture framing stuff. Not sure what I’m going to do with all these, but I’ve stuffed my working studio full of this stuff, so I won’t be painting in there anytime soon! I do hope it doesn’t take too long to get the storage room done.
